7 Months Pregnant In Weeks – Symptoms Of Pregnancy

September 23, 2020 by

When you are 7 months pregnant in weeks, it would be 28 weeks, which means you are in your third trimester. This trimester is the last stretch of pregnancy in different ways.

Common Symptoms of Pregnancy at 7 Months Pregnant in weeks (25 to 28)

During the stage of your third trimester, you can feel the increased size of your tummy, and it’s common as it shows the progression of your pregnancy. Symptoms can include:

  • Back pain
  • Swollen feet and hands
  • Fatigue
  • Stretch marks
  • Heartburn
  • Itchy skin
  • Leg and foot cramps
  • Hot flashes
  • Shortness of breath
  • Frequent urination
  • Mood changes
  • Braxton Hicks contractions
  • Insomnia

Remember that, all women are different, you might not experience all the symptoms as mentioned above during pregnancy. Some signs of pregnancy that result in worries of to-be-moms include:

Stretch marks:

At 7 months pregnant in week 25-28, you will notice an increase in your baby-bump every day. Due to this, there appear stretch marks on your breast, tummy, thighs, buttocks, and arms. Most of the women get reddish or pink-purple lines, but, after delivery, these lines mostly fade with time.

Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy and gaining the required weight gradually during the entire pregnancy period will aid in reducing the chances of stretch marks.

Itchy skin:

When your skin stretches, it may also itch. Rub a gentle moisturizer or soothing oils on your skin also take warm water for bathing, as hot water will make your skin dry.

7 Months Pregnant: Changes Outside and Inside

Your Baby’s Development:

During week 32, your baby will turn his head downward in order to get prepared for the delivery and also start moving downward; this will exert pressure on your bladder. This will take off some pressure on the lungs, and you can breathe a bit easier. The bones of your baby also become hard. Your baby can open and close his eyes and can even suck his thumb at this stage. He now has dreams and a proper sleeping cycle.

However, the skull of your baby would remain soft so he can easily pass through the birth canal. The skull plates slide over each other during the delivery process, that’s why some of the babies are born with head in cone-shape. Don’t worry at all, as the shape of the baby’s head will go back to normal within a few days after birth.

Changes to Your Body:

During your 7th month of pregnancy, the space inside your uterus becomes too small for your baby to move. But, you will most likely still be able to feel some movement of your baby each day.

Due to change if your center of gravity with an increased tummy, you might lose balance while standing, so take your time while standing and walking. With an expansion of your belly, you might not be able to bend over for picking up things.

Your breast will increase in size and become heavier. The nipple color may become darker, and the veins on the breasts will also become more clear and visible.
